A competitive housing market in Vancouver has left one realtor wanting to stand out from the crowd. On October 23rd, Melissa Wu, Luxury home specialist, partnered with Ana V (event planner and beauty educator) to host a one of a kind fashion show at an open house in Burnaby.
Over 100 realtors, industry professionals and special guests gathered to enjoy complimentary wine and cheese around the catwalk. Models strutted the runway in the latest professional trends from Global Garments, with their hair and makeup styling provided by Ana V Beauty.
“It was truly amazing to see an event can be put together so fast and professionally” said Wu.
Agents and developers are always looking to stand out from the competition, in some cases spending tens of thousands of dollars on these over-the-top open houses—prices once reserved for the launches of luxury condo buildings.
Ana V, a Vancouver based beauty educator, event coordinator and owner of a cosmetic line, who has worked with celebrities and lifestyle companies, says she’s recently begun working with real estate clients as well.
“Wine & Cheese platters are great, but FASHION SHOW definitely creates excitement and curiosity,” says Ana.
